Following the launch of PSDFAN, my most ambitious project to date, things are looking good! My first two tutorials have been very well received, and whilst it’s really too early to provide accurate traffic details I will say that the site looks set to easily break 1000 visitors again today!
I have to say that I love this post-launch madness. It’s SO much work - promoting/writing content pretty much non-stop. However, if you look at how much the average person is willing to work, then by working as hard as you possibly can you really stand out from 99% of people out there. I just wish there were more hours in my day.
If you would like to check out the first two PSDFAN tutorials (and let me know what you think), then please click the thumbnails below:

It’s finally here! PsdFan.com has launched at long last! I’ll be posting more about the site tomorrow, as well as posting the first of many photoshop tutorials to come.
For now, just enjoy the site and please check back to it soon. It’s going to be great, trust me :).

Blog,
My Life,
Web Design
What’s the worst thing that can happen to me right now given all the client design work and online stuff I have happening? That’s right - my internet seems to have taken on a mind of it’s own. If I log into msn long enough to start up a chat with someone I’m quickly told that I’ve ‘lost my internet connection’. If I try responding to an email the same thing happens. If I try to get some work done I have to wait a few hours until it stops messing up. Without the internet my laptop becomes an annoying object taking up space on my desk.
Hope a new router later this week will fix things…
Apologies to anyone who’s having trouble hearing from me or if I’ve sounded a little exasperated in my emails.
I’ve completed the first tutorial for PSDFan! The site still isn’t live but should definitely launch this week. Just to give you a quick taster of this first tut I’ve attached the final image - a cool music themed wallpaper. Don’t ask me why I went with music imagery, it just felt right.
I’d really appreciate any opinions from people if they like the final result and are interested in knowing how I made it.
Thanks!
