I’ll design 5 banners for my next 5 subscribers FREE!
Seeing as I’m keen to increase my blog’s subscriber figures I’m doing something that I’ve never done before. That is, I’m offering custom design work, totally FREE! Whereas many banner designers may charge $40-60 for a custom design I’m willing to design 5 125X125px banners for the next 5 people to subscribe to my RSS. The only rule is that you must post in the comments to this post after subscribing with your design requirements (text/images/logos that you wish me to use) and your website’s url.
I will be updating this thread with the completed banners after designing them, so check back to see what I come up with! I might also consider extending this offer to the next 10-15 subscribers depending on how much time I have.
My only conditions are the standard no racist/offensive websites, but that really goes without saying.
Oh and of course I will still appreciate a subscription even if you don’t need a banner design.

I couldn’t resist designing this banner for my blogging buddy Jim over at Blogging Startup. The design is extremely simple, but just make’s me think ’startup’ when I look at it, so hopefully his potential visitors will think the same.

Below is my banner design for Tish over at Blogging Gal. I think that about halfway through designing this I felt my masculinity decline… Seriously though it was a pleasure to create seeing as I was working with the great header graphics from her website.

Just found your blog, and am loving it! And I would totally LOVE a banner - we’re a Richmond, VA-based acoustic rock band that is also a not-for-profit. Our mission statement is “making music make a difference”, the band name is Offering. Our website (www.offeringband.com) is in the process of being redesigned, so the current site does not look all that great :(, but hopefully that will be different in a few weeks. Our MySpace is http://www.myspace.com/offeringband, and I’d love to use the banner there as well.

Those are some pretty good designs… but damn, you charge between $40-$60 for the 125 x 125 designs? I’m charging WAY to less for my design services then lol

Thanks Tom, that design works fine! Actually, all of the designs are great! I really like the one you did for Tish. It fits her blog perfectly! Tish, when I start taking banner ads on Blogging Startup, your first month is free (just so I can show off Tom’s work).
