Progress + Monthly Goals

I’m not going down the avenue of gloating about my success, but I did want to build up a little buzz for the upcoming Blogging Diary on Tuesday. The above image is a sneak preview of just what I will be analyzing. As you can see my Alexa ranking has shot up nicely within just a few days online and my RSS readership is also progressing well. On Tuesday I will be posting a full account of exactly what I’ve done each day of running the blog. I will also reveal my website statistics publicly and explain how I am going to continue to improve Push Standards exposure. I’m feeling really excited about this idea as there seems to be a wide-open niche for people actually explaining their success rather than simply profiting from it.
If you look at JohnChow.com many comments accuse him of not really saying much at all. Obviously I’m just starting out, but every internet mogul was once in the same position. You should follow my journey even if you think that there is a small chance that I can make it big, because I will be the first person to my knowledge to blog about every single detail from day one. I don’t mean to sound arrogant here, in fact I’m far from it, but what I am is determined.
If you would like to help out the cause and contribute to Push Standard’s growth then please visit the following notable posts, or simply subscribe to my RSS.
Aside from that little announcement I felt that it was about time for me to set myself some goals for my first month of blogging (ending March 5th). I’m quite a goal driven person and so will do my absolute best to reach these (hopefully) realistic goals:
I’ll be keeping you updated with these goals through the Blogging Diary, so be sure to check back on Tuesday (at midnight) to see how I’m getting on.
Cheers!

Looking forward to it Tom
Thanks Kieran
Good luck with your goals.
I’ve just found your site via sitepoint and will be keeping on eye on your progress. It’s always interesting to read about how other people promote their sites.
Thanks Tom, keep an eye out for my post on Tuesday if you’re interested in promotion.
This is a great idea for anyone wanting to learn what works and what doesn’t. I will definitely be following your progress. Congrats on the excellent numbers so far.
Thanks Coryan, I hope that you’ll consider subscribing in order to track my progress
